Matthew Ottone, a partner with Ottone Leach & Ray LLP, was born and raised in Salinas, California and received his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law. Mr. Ottone specializes in business law, real estate, and estate planning. He has extensive experience in counseling multi-generational family businesses for the purposes of succession planning, handling large-scale commercial real estate developments and transactions, and advising small businesses in entity formations and general corporation matters.
Mr. Ottone has served as an appointed member of several governmental boards and committees, including the City of Salinas Measure V Oversight Committee, the City of Salinas Redistricting Committee, and the Monterey County Planning Commission. He currently serves as a City of Salinas Planning Commissioner, and a board member for the Palma School Foundation and the Salinas Valley Tourism and Visitors Bureau. He also serves as an attorney coach for the Palma High School Mock Trial team. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
